Christian Family Government

Adam was alone. God gave Adam a wife who was bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh. We as the Church are called The Body of Christ. My husband and I met in church. Does this mean I am bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh? Maybe not, but we definitely agree on many of the most foundational principles which are important to unity in parenting and the family dynamic. The man is called to work by the sweat of his brow to be the provider and protector. The woman is called to bear children albeit through pain and sorrow but once she sees her child's face she remembers the pain no more for the joy set before her. Mother's are called to be nurturers and care givers. Many government social programs have taken over the roles of mother and father in childrens' lives. Government now provides the funds for meals, educates, and enforces the rules for the children. There is a lack of family order and now we wonder why so many people have bipolar disorder and people believe that you can decide whether you want to be male or female. If we do not follow God's purpose for the family it will end in the destruction of our society if by nothing but lack of reproduction.

But there is hope. God did not leave us to aimlessly wander the earth searching for the truth. He gave us his Son to die for our sins and lead us to Him. Jesus gave us His Words. When we are unsure of what is to come or what we are to do we can simply talk to him and read His Word for guidance. Through the Bible we have received wisdom to create a republican government system. And by His Word we will live and work to restore freedom and security to our nation.

I believe that what the Bible says about men who are in authority is important. Let their own house be in order first. This can be applied to women as well. Before we set out to “save the world” we must make sure that our husbands, children, and homes are well taken care of. This is hard at times because there is little praise and notice of it. It takes great humility to keep your focus on things at home when there is “greater glory” to be had else where. Yet we must remember that there are times and seasons for everything and that our treasure is stored up in Heaven. Our treasure also lies in the futures of our little ones. They will bring this nation back to greatness and it is our duty and privilege to guide them on that straight and narrow path.
